  • Role of Government

Each individual is endowed with inalienable rights from our creator. It is the proper role of government to protect those rights as explained by the founders of our country.

    Limited Government

Many great people came before us that noticed that the government which governs least, governs best. It is my goal to use my role as your next Representative in the Alaska House of Representatives to those ends.

  • Issues

    Budget

The less we spend, the easier it is to fix

We need a state government we can afford and one that is sustainable without unnecessarily burdening the private economy.

My thoughts on this issue have been published across the state:

    Oil Tax Credits

    Lets Fix it

Let's institute a test for all new oil tax credits. The credits ought to provide an expected rate of return to the State of Alaska that is greater than the expected rate of return of the Permanent Fund. Without this test we risk wasting Alaska's wealth on corporate welfare.

    Permanent Fund Dividend

    Don't tale it away

A recent estimate by economists at the University of Alaska shows that cutting the dividend would be the single most harmful way to fill the budget deficit with respects to Alaskan's income.
